The Festes de la Mare de Déu d’Agost are the most important festivities in Can Picafort and are celebrated approximately from August 1st to 15th.
During this period, the town center comes alive with popular activities, music, a vibrant street atmosphere, family-friendly events, and festivities that make Can Picafort one of the liveliest spots in the Bay of Alcúdia.
Highlights include the “Flower Power” party on the night of August 14th; the traditional release of rubber ducks on the morning of August 15th; and the grand fireworks display, which brings the celebrations to a close on the evening of August 15th.
These festivities offer the perfect opportunity to experience the authentic, summery atmosphere of Can Picafort, share the celebration with both residents and visitors, and enjoy a program rich in tradition, fun, and Mediterranean life by the sea.
