Es Comú de Muro

This extensive sandy beach, stretching for several kilometres, is one of the most unspoilt and best-preserved beaches in the Bay of Alcúdia and is also communally owned. It is characterised by its fine-grained sand and by forests of juniper trees — an exceptional feature in the Balearic Islands — and pine trees that stabilise a dune system unique in the archipelago. The dunes extend hundreds of metres inland until they reach the road, and numerous paths provide access to and from the beach.

The area known as es Comú de Muro is designated as an Àrea Natural d’Especial Interès and forms part of the Parc Natural de s’Albufera, with a recreational area located within it. Platja de Muro comprises 5.2 km of coastline and is known for its calm waters and moderate waves. According to the TripAdvisor website, Platja de Muro is the seventh-best beach in Spain.
