Oratori de Son Serra

The Chapel of Sant Joan Baptista was blessed in 1912. Inspired by the Neo-Romanesque style, it features several notable architectural elements: a semicircular arched doorway with archivolts, a central rose window, Lombard-style arches and a wayside cross crowning the composition.

On the exterior of the chancel, the semicircular apse can be clearly seen, next to which stands a bell tower. During the 1930s, it was declared a vicaria in capite under the dedication of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It depended on the parish of Santa Margalida, and religious services were held there until 1969.
