The Alcúdia–Artà road is one of the most popular among cycling enthusiasts in the northern part of the island.
This is the main route for travelling along the coast of the Bay of Alcúdia and features two cycle lanes connecting Can Picafort with the Finca Pública de Son Real. Along the way, there are several cultural, natural and historical sites to observe and visit.
The main attraction of this route is the Finca Pública de Son Real, a true natural and historical treasure. The estate covers a total of 395 hectares. Here you can find an old possessió, an information office, an interpretation centre, an archaeological museum, archaeological sites, a variety of natural ecosystems and much more. The Parc Natural de s’Albufera is another key place to visit along the route. In addition, you can see several large-scale murals from Saladina Art Fest, visit a talaiot and discover the traditional estate houses of Son Serra de Marina.
