The Joan Bennàssar route offers a way to discover the municipality through the Mallorcan artist's public sculptures, distributed across Can Picafort, Son Serra de Marina, and Santa Margalida.
The route offers the opportunity to discover the works of the Ports d’Alga Marina project, launched in 2016, and the La Nova Ítaca del Mediterrani collection, completed in 2022. The sculptures create a narrative inspired by the sea, classical myths, journeys, return, desire, memory and the human condition.
Along the route, you can discover works such as El Tresor, La Ferida, El Ritual, El Desitj, El Vigia, Penèlope, Ulisses, Nausicaa / Telèmac, Els Ports and Calipso, among others.
