Religious architecture

This heritage is notable for its historical and artistic value, but also because many of these spaces have remained in continuous use over time.

These structures shed light on popular religious devotion, the evolution of the town, and the significance of faith in the daily life of Santa Margalida.

The most prominent landmark is the Parish Church of Santa Margalida, situated at the highest point of the town. Its silhouette, combined with the retaining wall of the hill, creates one of the town’s most iconic images and offers an expansive panoramic view of the surrounding agricultural plains.

In addition to the church, the municipality preserves other notable features—such as the Rectory (Casa de la Rectoria) and the Oratory of Son Serra de Marina—which provide a broader perspective on the local religious heritage.
